La pastilla Hot Tele Lead utiliza imanes de alnico de 5 varillas planos y rectificados a mano y un viento de bobina especial de alta salida La ausencia de una placa inferior de acero le brinda un gran golpe en las frecuencias bajas y medias. Estos están construidos a mano en Santa Bárbara y utilizan imanes de varilla de alnico de 5 rectificados a mano, junto con la tradicional cubierta Telecaster cromada embutida y bobinas bañadas en laca. Cera en maceta para un rendimiento sin chirridos.
