Cuando Maricela “MJ” Juarez comenzó a dar cuerda a las pastillas en Seymour Duncan en 1983, ya soñaba con trabajar con un guitarrista en particular: el único Peter Frampton. Una vez que comenzó a administrar Custom Shop y construir pastillas para algunos de los guitarristas más importantes de la música, su sueño se hizo realidad. MJ tuvo la oportunidad de dar cuerda a un juego de humbuckers para Peter. Desde entonces, ha utilizado estas pastillas en innumerables grabaciones y presentaciones a lo largo de los años. El conjunto Frampton Comes Alive Humbucker está construido con imanes Alnico 2 y una salida vintage para el sonido dinámico. Los primeros 160 juegos fueron firmados por Frampton y MJ.
