El Itotele Meinl modelo BA2-BK está fabricado con fibra de vidrio premium, en conjunto con otros dos tambores llamados Iya y Okonkolo forman un Batá, un instrumento de origen cubano utilizado tradicionalmente para rituales religiosos. Meinl ha reproducido el sonido de este místico instrumento para su uso comercial con los mejores materiales y con una apariencia maravillosa.
