Augmented Chords
Augmented chords are made up of 3 notes that correspond to degrees:
Root - Major Third - Augmented Fifth (R – 3 – #5)
They are represented by the letter that represents the "name" of the chord followed by the word "aug”In lowercase, for example Augmented C is represented as Caug
* Sometimes they are represented as the name followed by an uppercase “+” sign (C +).
They are chords that we can perform using the open strings of the guitar, using a capotrasto, or sometimes making capo.
