Diminished Chords
The diminished chords are made up of 3 notes that correspond to the degrees:
Root - Minor Third - Diminished Fifth (R – b3 – 5b)
They are represented by the letter of the "name" corresponding to the chord followed by the lowercase word "dim", for example Do diminished is represented as Cdim. It is also represented as Cº.
