Originally from Ciudad Lerdo, Durango, he began his musical studies under the tutelage of maestro Marco Aurelio Gutiérrez Mares at the age of 12. In 2013 he completed his Bachelor of Music with a specialty in Guitar under the direction of Maestro Martín Madrigal Guzmán at the Higher School of Music of the Autonomous University of Coahuila.

From 2013 to 2018 he completed his postgraduate studies graduating with the highest honors at the Instituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “L. Boccherini ”and at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in the cities of Lucca and Parma, Italy, respectively, where he had the opportunity to attend classes with the teachers Giampaolo Bandini, Lorenzo Micheli, Oscar Ghiglia, Massimo Felici, Zoran Dukic, Pavel Steidl and Maurizio Grandinetti.

He has participated in national and international guitar and chamber music competitions, obtaining more than 30 first places, among which are: 46 ° International Fernando Sor Guitar Competition, XVIII International Guitar Competition "Homage to Niccoló Paganini", XII International Festival and Guitar Competition "Enrico Mercatali", XXXIX National Contest of Paracho Classical Guitar Interpreters, IV National Contest of Mexico.

He has taken master classes with teachers of international stature such as: Leo Brouwer (Cuba), Roland Dyens (France), Manuel Barrueco (Cuba), Costas Cotsiolis (Greece), Deniz Azabagic (Bosnia), Aniello Desiderio (Italy), Adriano del Sal (Italy), Eduardo Fernandez (Uruguay), William Kanengiser (US), Pablo Garibay (Mexico), Marcin Dylla (Poland), among others.

From 2015 to 2018 he taught the guitar class at the Instituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “L. Boccherini ”in Lucca, Italy. Today he teaches the guitar chair at the Higher School of Music of the Autonomous University of Coahuila, where he is also responsible for the subject of instrumental ensembles and serves as director of the Guitar Orchestra. He currently develops an intense artistic activity as a soloist and with various chamber music groups in the most important music and guitar festivals in Mexico and Europe.
