Originally from Guadalajara Jalisco, he is a musician dedicated to the study and performance of jazz.

He studied guitar in the Music Department of the University of Guadalajara under the tutelage of the teachers Winfried Kellner and Juan Carlos Martinez Zavala. Later, he took advanced courses with teachers such as Hector Rodriguez, Francisco Lelo De Larrea, Tom Kessler, Ken Basman, Werther Ellerbrook, Simone Iannaerelli, Andrea Vettoretti and Jaime Soria Porto.

During his career he has dabbled in classical music, rock, popular Mexican, Latin American, jazz and klezmer.

He performed with Quarteck Johnson at the 5th and 7th Meeting of Jazz Aguascalientes 2012 and 2015, obtaining excellent reviews and alternating with musicians from the international and national jazz scene such as Robi Botos Trio, Jean Michel Pilc, Ari Hoenig, Agustín Bernal, Luis Nacht .

He is currently a guitarist in Sherele (a group that fuses klezmer and jazz music), Quarteck Johnson (Jazz Fusion) and the Verdín-Cárdenas Duet. It is presented regularly in a “solo guitar” format, interpreting the classic Jazz repertoire. He has participated in other groups such as DUJAZZ COOL, JAZZ BROTHERS and FM JAZZ QUARTET.
