A graduate of the INBA Higher School of Music in Mexico City and the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague in the Netherlands, Oman Kaminsky studied under the guidance of teacher Isabelle Villey and Professor Zoran Dukic.
He has been awarded first prizes in more than 30 competitions in Europe, the United States and Mexico, among which stand out, the Forum Guitare in Vienna, Iserlohn in Germany, John Duarte in Austria, Guitar Art in Belgrade, Printemps de la guitare in Belgium , among others. In 2008, he received the National Youth Award from the President of the Republic.
Oman Kaminsky constantly offers recitals in Europe, the United States and Mexico; including some of the most important rooms, such as the Concertgebow in Amsterdam, the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Nezahualcoyotl room or the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City.
He has participated as a soloist with orchestras from Mexico and the Netherlands such as OFUNAM, the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Guanajuato or the NJO orchestra of the Netherlands.
Interested in chamber music, he is a member of the Sensemayá Quartet and the MX duo, sharing the stage with prominent Mexican guitarists.
