In his hometown of Mérida, Yucatán, he began his studies of electric guitar with the teachers Lorenzo Esquivel and in classical guitar with Ricardo Vega and Miguel Uc at the José Jacinto Cuevas Music Center. He graduated as a concert performer at the Escuela Superior de Música at the National Center of the Arts in Mexico City with the teacher Josefina Robles to later carry out his master's studies with the teacher Álvaro Perri at the Université Laval in Quebec, Canada, in where he graduated with the highest honors.

He has taken masterclasses with the teachers: Steve Vai, Sylvain Luc, Roland Dyens, Eugenio Toussaint, Sergio Assad, Scott Tennant, Gabriel Hammel, Kenny Bibace, Juan Carlos Laguna, among others.

It has been presented in: Germany, Argentina, Austria, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain, the United States, France, Mexico, Puerto Rico and recently the United Arab Emirates. His multifaceted career has led him to perform at various Classical, Jazz, Rock, World, Rock and Pop music festivals in venues such as: National Theater (Costa Rica), Nezahualcóyotl Hall (Mexico), Palais Montcalm (Canada), National Auditorium, Metropolitan Theater (Mexico), Dubai's World Trade Center (United Arab Emirates), House of Blues (EU), to name a few. His repertoire includes programs for classical and electric guitar as soloist, duets, chamber music, orchestras, tango, rock, and original compositions. He has played with the Yucatán Symphony Orchestra, the UNAM Philharmonic Orchestra, the Carlos Chávez Orchestra, the UNAM Saxophone Orchestra, etc.
