Roy Gama VI - Mexican Guitar Players

He was born on October 16, 1985 in Tlalnepantla Edo. Mex. At the age of 15 he began his studies (in electric guitar) in a self-taught way. Later he entered the BELLAS ARTES school in TULTEPEC EDO MEX. In which, he is part of various ensembles and projects of both classical and electric guitar, after several years of musical training in 2015 he began his solo career presenting his first self-titled album (ROY GAMA) which is well received by the media and by the public, by which he is invited to present it in various forums and festivals such as:

Mecha Polvora y fuego Festival III, held in the INTERNATIONAL FRAMEWORK OF THE FERIA DE LA PIROTECNIA in TULTEPEC EDO MEX, 2016.
FAR Art and Roots Festival held in CUAUTITLÁN DE ROMERO RUBIO, EDO MEX 2016.
Selected to participate in the GUITAR GO TALENT CDMX 2016 (having as jury LUCAS ESPINOZA, PEFY CASTILLO AND JAIME ROSAS).

In 2016, he promoted his second album entitled ENTRE LAS SOMBRAS, which is highly criticized both by the media and by renowned solo guitarists such as: RAFAEL FLORES, PEFY CASTILLO (Guitarist for CRYSTAL Y ACERO), JAIME ROSAS (announcer for ROCKERIAS NOCTURNAS), TOÑO DISTOR (mass media) also being promoted on RADIO MEXIQUENSE 88.5 fm, CIRCO VOLADOR RADIO.

In 2017, already recognized as a promising young guitar player in MEXICO, he presented his third solo album INTERESTELAR OVERDRIVE, being invited to GRITA RADIO, RADIO MEXIQUENSE 88.5, and various forums and festivals. In October he is selected to participate in FIVAC (International Festival Live Alterno Cervantino) held in the Plaza de los Ángeles GUANAJUATO. This same year he obtained the sponsorship of: RAVEN PICKS, PIROCAPITAL, INJECTANDO DESEÑOS.

FOUNDER of the GUITAR FRIENDS festival, which takes place in different forums and states of the Mexican Republic, bringing together 8 of the best guitarists in MEXICO. To name a few HUGO LOYO, DANIEL GARDUÑO, SEBASTIAN SALINAS (Argentine), ALEX HERNANDEZ, LUIS DAVID AREOLA «EL ZURDO», MARIO SEGOVIA, CARLOS EDDAR.

Excellently criticized in his live performances and classified as unique in his genre for using various special pyrotechnic effects in his shows, recognized for using a horror mask, which makes a very special interaction with the public.
